Description

This sophisticated set of eight vintage salad plates by Vietri represents the pinnacle of Italian artisanal pottery. Handcrafted in the storied ceramics workshops of Italy, each plate features a deep, lustrous chocolate brown glaze that radiates with a rich, high-gloss finish. The organic, slightly irregular forms highlight the human touch behind the craftsmanship, offering a grounded and rustic elegance that effortlessly bridges the gap between Traditional European charm and modern Minimalist design. This collection serves as an authoritative addition to any high-end table setting, bringing a layer of warmth and historical texture to your curated dining experience. Measuring 7.5 inches in diameter and standing 1 inch tall, these plates are perfectly sized for salads, desserts, or curated appetizers. The set is in great vintage condition, displaying minor edge rubbing and soft surface scuffs appropriate to their age and artisanal nature. This subtle wear presents as a desirable patina, emphasizing their authentic handmade history and adding character to the collection. Whether grounding a Boho Chic breakfast nook or serving as a refined accent on a festive holiday table, these Vietri treasures are a timeless investment in functional art.
