Description

A vintage decorative box crafted from wood and metal, showcasing a pyramid-shaped lid and a rich, aged patina, indicative of careful preservation. The wood exhibits a deep, reddish-brown hue with visible grain variations that enhance its rustic charm. Minor surface wear is present, consistent with its age, adding character without detracting from the overall aesthetic. The metal hardware, including a prominent central latch and decorative corner braces, is crafted from a brass-like material with a light, appealing tarnish that highlights its vintage origins. The latching mechanism remains intact and functional, and the metalwork features subtle floral motifs that add a touch of decorative elegance. The box rests on small metal feet, ensuring stability and adding to its distinctive profile. Measuring 10 inches wide, 7.5 inches high, and 6.75 inches deep, the box is structurally sound with no visible repairs or significant damage. Its proportions and unique design suggest a piece intended for both display and utility, serving as a reminder of the fine craftsmanship of its period.
