Description

A vintage stacked rattan side table in the manner of Paul Frankl, this piece showcases the distinctive design elements that echo Frankl's celebrated style. Crafted from rattan and wood, the table features a tiered, geometric form that is both functional and visually striking. The warm, honey-toned finish exhibits a gentle patina, indicative of its age, while minor surface scuffs and small nicks along the edges suggest light, respectful use over the years. The table's construction emphasizes the fluidity and strength of rattan, with carefully bent and layered sections creating an open, airy aesthetic. The joinery is neat and precise, highlighting the craftsmanship involved in its making. Its compact dimensions, 30.25 inches wide by 23.5 inches high and 31 inches deep, ensure that it can fit neatly into various interior settings, serving as an elegant accent piece. Overall, the table remains structurally sound, with no visible repairs or significant damage. Its design, after Paul Frankl, is a testament to mid-century innovation and remains a sought-after style for collectors and enthusiasts of vintage rattan furniture.
