Description

Crafted in the Shaker style, this vintage rattan basket embodies simplicity and functionality with its woven wicker construction. The basket features a rounded form with a prominent arched handle, showcasing the skilled craftsmanship indicative of Shaker design principles. Its natural rattan material exhibits a rich, warm patina, accentuated by age-appropriate wear that adds character and authenticity to the piece. The basket's surface reveals minor fraying and slight deformation, typical of its vintage nature, yet it remains structurally sound. Each woven segment interlocks seamlessly, highlighting the meticulous attention to detail in its construction. The handle, robust yet elegantly curved, complements the basket's form, providing both aesthetic appeal and practical utility. Measuring 15 inches in width, 12.25 inches in height, and 13.5 inches in depth, this basket is both a decorative piece and a functional accessory. Its charming imperfections tell a story of use and age, making it a distinctive addition for collectors and enthusiasts of Shaker-style artifacts. The basket's enduring appeal lies in its understated elegance and the patina that speaks to its history.
