Description

A set of six vintage Platner-style wire dining chairs, crafted from chrome-plated steel and wool upholstery. These chairs feature the iconic mid-century modern aesthetic, characterized by their sculptural wire bases and gracefully curved lines. The chrome frames exhibit minimal signs of wear, maintaining a bright, reflective finish that highlights their intricate design. Each chair presents a visually striking silhouette with a rounded backrest that seamlessly transitions into armrests, offering both comfort and support. The wool upholstery, in a neutral gray tone, remains intact with only light, age-appropriate wear, underscoring the chairs' careful preservation. The subtle texture of the wool complements the sleek metal framework, creating a harmonious balance between softness and structural precision. Measuring 34 inches in both width and height, with a depth of 27 inches, these chairs are proportioned for both aesthetic appeal and practical use. Structurally sound and ready for immediate use or display, this set embodies the elegance and innovation of mid-century design. Their enduring appeal lies in the skillful combination of form and function, making them a sophisticated addition to any modern interior.
