Description
A pair of vintage Murano blown glass table lamps, characterized by their soft pink hue and graceful form, likely from mid-20th century Italy. The glass bodies exhibit a subtle opalescent quality, with a delicate, swirling pattern that adds depth and visual interest. Each lamp is supported by a robust, circular wooden base finished in a warm golden tone, providing a sturdy and contrasting foundation to the delicate glass above. The brass accents, including the neck and fittings, display a gentle patina, indicative of the pieces' age and authenticity. This patina enhances the lamps' vintage charm, while the brass remains structurally sound with only minor tarnishing. The wiring appears intact, though inspection by a qualified electrician is recommended to ensure safety and compatibility with modern standards. Overall, the condition is very good, with the glass bodies free from chips or cracks, allowing their gentle elegance to shine through. These lamps exemplify the craftsmanship synonymous with Murano glass, blending artistic form with functional design. Perfect for collectors or admirers of fine glasswork, they offer a refined lighting solution for a discerning interior.
