Description
A vintage Italian painted metal lemon tree crafted from resin and cement captures the whimsical charm of a Mediterranean garden. Standing at an impressive 57 inches tall, it features meticulously sculpted green leaves and vibrant yellow lemons, each element painted with care to enhance its lifelike appearance. The tree is anchored in a sturdy black pot, providing both stability and a subtle contrast to the vivid foliage above. The piece exhibits light wear consistent with age, including minor surface scuffs and a gentle patina that graces the leaves and lemons, adding authenticity and depth. The original finish remains intact, highlighting the artist's skill in achieving a natural texture and coloration. The lemons, with their slightly textured surfaces, evoke the tactile quality of real fruit, while the elegant curvature of the branches offers a pleasing organic silhouette. Its proportions and attention to detail suggest a mid-20th-century origin, reflecting a period when craftsmanship in decorative arts was esteemed.
