Description

The vintage ceramic vase is characterized by a distinctive green glaze that exudes an aged patina, reflective of its vintage provenance. The form is organic, with a gently swelling body that tapers towards a slightly irregular rim, suggesting a handcrafted quality. The glaze exhibits variations in tone, enhancing the vase's textured surface and adding depth to its appearance. Visible areas of wear and glaze loss are apparent around the rim and across the body, indicative of the vase's history and usage. These areas reveal the tan ceramic beneath, providing a contrast that emphasizes the piece's age. Minor crazing patterns are visible, adding a layer of complexity to the glossy surface, while small chips are present but do not compromise the vase's structural integrity. Measuring 10.75 inches in height and 8 inches in width and depth, the vase possesses a substantial presence. Despite its vintage wear, it remains structurally sound with no visible cracks or repairs. This piece embodies the charm and character typical of vintage ceramics, making it a noteworthy addition to any collection.
