Description
A vintage Art Deco bronze and glass side table, showcasing the distinctive elegance of early 20th century design. The table features a robust bronze base with a warm, consistent patina that speaks to its age and authenticity. The bronze exhibits minor surface wear, adding character while remaining in very good overall condition. Noteworthy are the elegantly tapered legs, each terminating in a stylized paw foot, lending a sense of refined artistry and attention to detail typical of the Deco period. The rectangular glass top, impeccably preserved with no visible chips or scratches, rests securely on the bronze frame. Its clarity and thickness complement the base, creating a harmonious balance between transparency and solidity. The glass is anchored by understated circular mounts, which enhance the table's architectural aesthetic without detracting from its refined simplicity. With dimensions of 16.75 inches wide, 32.5 inches high, and 11.25 inches deep, this side table is both structurally sound and visually striking, suitable for a variety of settings. The table’s blend of geometric form and organic detail beautifully exemplifies the Deco movement's mastery of combining materials and forms, making it a distinguished piece for the discerning collector.
