Description
A pair of vintage Chinese ceramic planters featuring intricate dragon motifs in a warm, golden hue. These planters showcase traditional craftsmanship, with each dragon depicted in a sinuous, dynamic form, elegantly wrapping around the circumference of the vessels. The artistry of the dragons is accentuated by swirling cloud motifs, lending a sense of movement and vitality to the design. The planters exhibit an age-appropriate patina, with some fading that enhances their vintage charm. The original finish remains intact, highlighting the planters' character and history. Minor surface wear is visible, particularly around the rims and bases, without compromising their structural integrity. The interiors are glazed in a contrasting green, providing a striking visual contrast to the exterior designs. Measuring 20 inches in width and depth, and standing 19.5 inches tall, these planters are substantial yet refined. They are well-suited to a variety of settings, offering both decorative appeal and functional utility. Their condition is good, with no significant damage or repairs noted, making them a desirable addition for collectors and enthusiasts of Chinese ceramics.
