Description

Vintage ceramic woodland squirrel figures showcase a charming depiction of wildlife artistry. Crafted with attention to detail, these figures capture the lively essence of squirrels poised on textured tree stump bases. The ceramic surfaces are adorned with a warm, earthy palette that highlights the squirrels' bushy tails and expressive faces, accentuated by subtle gradations in the glaze that provide depth and realism. The figures stand at an impressive height of 18.75 inches, with each squirrel meticulously modeled to convey a sense of movement and alertness. Their posture and detailing, from the subtle curvature of the tails to the delicate shaping of their paws, reflect a high level of craftsmanship. The tree stumps feature a realistic bark-like texture with a nuanced application of color that enhances the naturalistic appearance of the composition. In very good condition, these figures maintain a well-preserved original finish with a pleasing patina. Minor surface wear is evident, consistent with their age, yet there are no significant chips or cracks, ensuring they remain structurally sound and display-ready. Perfect for those who appreciate vintage ceramic artistry with a touch of woodland charm, these figures offer both aesthetic appeal and a glimpse into mid-century decorative traditions.
