Description
A vintage ceramic trophy with a gold-plated finish, crafted in a whimsical form that humorously honors a "Last Place" standing. The piece stands at 7.25 inches tall with a width of 6 inches and a depth of 3 inches, displaying a playful yet substantial presence. The gold-plated surface exhibits minor wear and surface irregularities, indicative of its age, which adds character and charm to the piece. The ceramic base remains structurally sound with no visible cracks or chips, ensuring its continued suitability for display. The design features an exaggerated, almost caricatural trophy form with two looping handles and an off-kilter body, accentuating its humorous intent. The hand-painted "Last Place" lettering in bold black stands out against the metallic sheen, giving it a distinctive, tongue-in-cheek appeal. The finish, while showing slight unevenness and age-related patina, enhances the vintage aesthetic. This piece is not only a conversation starter but also a testament to the playful spirit of vintage collectibles. It captures an era when humor found a unique expression in everyday objects, making it an intriguing addition to any collection that appreciates the lighter side of ceremonial artifacts.
