Description
A vintage assembly of brass sleigh bells is affixed to a leather strap, showcasing a harmonious blend of traditional craftsmanship and enduring materials. The bells, crafted from bronze, exhibit an original patina indicative of their age, with a pleasing tarnish that enhances their visual appeal. Each bell is securely attached to the strap, their surfaces adorned with subtle, incised decorative lines that catch the light and highlight the handwork involved in their creation. The leather strap, measuring a substantial 36.5 inches in length, shows signs of wear consistent with age, yet remains robust and intact. The darkened hue of the leather complements the aged metal, creating a unified aesthetic that speaks to the piece’s history. Small metal loops hold the bells in place, showing no signs of corrosion, and suggesting careful preservation over the years. Overall, the piece remains structurally sound, with no significant damage visible. The combination of materials—iron and bronze—alongside the evident craftsmanship, positions this piece as a desirable example of vintage utility and decorative art. Its condition and visual characteristics make it a striking collectible for those with an appreciation for historical artifacts.
