Description

Pair of vintage lounge chairs crafted from braided rattan and wicker, showcasing a robust yet inviting form. These chairs, likely dating to the mid-20th century, exhibit a warm, even patina across the original wicker finish, indicative of careful use and preservation. The rattan braiding, prominently displayed along the arms and backrest, adds a textural depth and tactile quality that complements the overall structure. The chairs feature a gently curved silhouette, creating an enveloping shape that is both visually appealing and comfortable. The minor wear, including slight fraying at some edges, is consistent with age and lends authenticity without compromising structural integrity. Each chair is fitted with a simple fabric cushion, offering a neutral contrast to the richly toned wicker. Solid and well-proportioned, the chairs measure 32.75 inches in width, 33.75 inches in height, and 24 inches in depth, making them suitable for a variety of seating arrangements. Their design embodies both functionality and aesthetic appeal, making them an attractive choice for those appreciating vintage craftsmanship and natural materials.
