Description

A vintage wrapped rattan mirror, exhibiting the warm, inviting qualities of mid-20th century design. The frame, crafted from natural rattan, displays a gentle patina that speaks to its age and authenticity. This subtle aging is seen in the mellowed hues and minor surface wear that enhance its tactile charm. The woven texture of the rattan is distinct, with each strand carefully wrapped to form a cohesive, continuous border that elegantly frames the mirror. The mirrored glass remains clear and unmarred by significant scratches or blemishes, providing both function and aesthetic appeal. Its rectangular form is softened by rounded corners, creating a harmonious balance that would complement a variety of interiors. The mirror’s dimensions of 24 inches in width and 38 inches in height make it a versatile piece, suitable for various spaces within the home. Overall, the piece is in very good condition, with slight discoloration typical of vintage rattan, adding character without detracting from its integrity. A fine example of vintage craftsmanship, this mirror offers a glimpse into the era's affinity for natural materials and simple, yet effective design.
