Description
Crafted from richly grained wood, this vintage box showcases an elegant interplay of materials, featuring a distinctive bone inlay on the top. The wood exhibits a warm patina, with the burl surfaces presenting a captivating swirl pattern that adds visual depth. The box's construction is robust, evidenced by its clean joinery and precise craftsmanship, indicative of careful attention to detail. The bone inlay forms a mosaic-like pattern, each piece meticulously fitted to create a harmonious surface. The bone has aged gracefully, showing slight discoloration that enhances its antique charm. The inlay is intact, with no visible losses or repairs, maintaining the integrity of the design. The contrast between the warm wood tones and the cool, creamy bone highlights the box’s refined aesthetic. Measuring 9.5 inches in width, 4 inches in height, and 6.5 inches in depth, the box is both functional and decorative. Its condition is very good, with minor scuffs that are consistent with age, adding character without detracting from its appeal.
