Description

A vintage table lamp crafted from brass, plaster, and shell, this piece captures the organic allure of natural textures and forms. The lamp's body, comprised of a series of plaster-embedded shells, echoes the irregular elegance of oceanic motifs, each shell uniquely textured and subtly varied in hue. The shells are set against a plaster base that has gracefully aged, displaying a soft patina that speaks to its vintage origins. This tactile composition brings a striking yet understated natural aesthetic to any setting. The brass components, including the lamp's socket and base, display light tarnishing consistent with age but remain structurally intact and functional. This patina adds an additional layer of character, emphasizing the piece's historical charm. The lamp stands at a height of 17 inches, with a width of 13.5 inches and a depth of 7.5 inches, offering a substantial presence without overwhelming its surroundings. Overall, the lamp is in very good condition, with minor wear that enhances its vintage appeal. Ready for display, this lamp is a testament to the timeless integration of natural elements into home décor, making it a distinctive addition for collectors and enthusiasts of mid-century or coastal design motifs.
