The frames exhibit an intricate rope twist detail along the crest rail and seat apron, with fluted legs that terminate in traditional spade feet, showcasing the classic Chippendale influence. The backs are adorned with vertical splats, each carved with a subtle scroll motif that adds a touch of refinement. The original wood finish displays noticeable wear, with a patina that enhances the vintage character of the chairs, indicating their well-preserved status over the years. The seats are upholstered in a faded pink fabric, bearing a striped pattern. The fabric shows signs of wear and fading consistent with vintage use, contributing to an overall sense of historical charm. Structurally, the chairs are sound, with no visible repairs, ensuring their continued usability. Measuring 15.75 inches in width, 34.5 inches in height, and 13.5 inches in depth, these side chairs combine elegant proportions with a robust presence, suitable for both display and functional use in a sophisticated setting.
