Description
Crafted from ceramic, this pair of vintage Stafford leaping fish vases exemplifies mid-20th-century design with a playful yet refined aesthetic. Each vase features a dynamic depiction of a vibrant fish, artfully rendered in shades of pink, yellow, and red with black detailing that highlights the graceful forms. The fish are depicted leaping over a stylized wave, creating a sense of movement and vitality. The white ceramic body provides a stark, clean contrast to the colorful fish, enhancing their visual impact. The original ceramic finish remains vivid, with minor age-related wear that speaks to their history without detracting from their charm. Some light scuffing and small marks are present on the base, indicative of careful display over the years. Importantly, no visible cracks or repairs are evident, ensuring the pair is structurally sound and ready for continued use or display. Bearing the original Stafford label on the base, these vases carry an authenticated provenance that collectors and enthusiasts will appreciate. Their compact dimensions, measuring 4.5 inches in width and 4 inches in height, allow for versatile placement while providing a lively focal point in any setting.
