Description

A vintage sculptural table combining a striking stone top with a pencil reed base, exuding mid-20th-century craftsmanship. The octagonal stone surface showcases swirling patterns in earthy tones, offering a rich visual texture that is both elegant and understated. This well-preserved surface displays a minor patina that speaks to its age while maintaining its overall integrity. The base, crafted from pencil reed, features a dynamic, flared silhouette that tapers gracefully, providing both stability and aesthetic appeal. The natural warmth and subtle variations in the reed's color add depth and character, with slight wear that aligns with its vintage provenance. This structural design not only supports the substantial stone top but also highlights the artistry involved in its creation. Measuring 35 inches in both width and depth, and standing 28.5 inches tall, the table is both a functional and decorative piece. Its sculptural presence makes it a distinctive addition to interiors that appreciate a blend of natural materials and classic form. The table remains structurally sound, with no visible repairs, attesting to its quality construction and careful maintenance over the years.
