Description

Vintage majolica mugs featuring a charming scalloped rim and vibrant floral motifs. Crafted from ceramic, these pieces exhibit the distinctive majolica glaze that highlights their vivid color palette. Each mug showcases a delightful tableau of raised daffodils and cattails, set against a lush green backdrop that transitions to a soft pink interior. The exterior's yellow base provides a warm contrast, enhancing the floral design. The mugs measure approximately 4 inches in width, 3.5 inches in height, and 3 inches in depth, making them both visually appealing and functional. Their handles are gracefully curved with a subtle green hue, complementing the floral theme. The original glaze is well-preserved, with minor age-appropriate crazing adding character without compromising integrity. Light wear is visible on the base edges and handles, consistent with gentle use over time. These mugs are in very good condition, with no chips, cracks, or repairs evident. The vibrant colors and intricate detailing reflect the quality craftsmanship typical of vintage majolica pieces. Perfect for collectors or those who appreciate the artistry of ceramic design, these mugs are a fine example of the majolica tradition.
