Description
Crafted by Sarreguemines, this vintage porcelain wall pocket showcases a vibrant floral motif characteristic of the brand's dedication to exquisite ceramic artistry. The piece measures 7.5 inches in height and 3.75 inches in width, forming a charming cone shape that elegantly narrows at the base. A delicate array of pink, yellow, and blue blooms, framed by subtle brown lines, adorns the glossy white surface, illustrating the skilled hand-painting typical of Sarreguemines’ designs. The wall pocket's original finish reveals a gently aged patina with surface crazing that attests to its vintage origins, adding a layer of historical depth. A visible crack on the front does not compromise its structural integrity, allowing it to retain its decorative and functional charm. The reverse of the piece bears the distinctive Sarreguemines mark, confirming its authenticity and origin. This wall pocket is not only a testament to Sarreguemines’ rich legacy in ceramic production but also a delightful addition to any collection, offering both aesthetic appeal and a glimpse into the artistry of past eras. Its enduring beauty lies in the harmonious blend of form and floral decoration, capturing the essence of vintage elegance.
