Description

This elegant ceramic figure captures the streamlined beauty of a greyhound or whippet in a dignified seated pose, looking upward. The sculpture is finished in a brilliant, high-gloss white glaze, emphasizing its sleek lines and graceful form. The dog is adorned with a detailed collar featuring two tassels, lending the piece a traditional hunting lodge or aristocratic feel, while the bright white glaze and minimal form maintain a clean Hollywood Regency or Grand Millennial aesthetic. As a significant decorative object, this sculpture is perfect for adding vertical interest and a touch of classic animalia to a mantlepiece, bookshelf, or console table. Its monochromatic finish ensures it works seamlessly with any color scheme, from minimalist to maximalist. The ceramic is in excellent vintage condition, preserving its glossy finish with minimal wear. Measuring 8.5 inches long, 6 inches deep, and standing 12.75 inches tall, this handsome figure is an enduring symbol of grace and style, ready to be added to a discerning collection.
