Description
A striking pair of vintage ceramic dragon lamps, rendered in a rich, glossy red glaze that exudes warmth and vibrancy. The ceramic bodies are adorned with intricately sculpted dragon motifs, their sinuous forms gracefully wrapping around the bulbous bases, showcasing expert craftsmanship. The gloss finish accentuates the depth of the red hue, while minor surface scuffs add character, consistent with their vintage nature. Each lamp is mounted on a subtly polished wood base, offering a sturdy and complementary contrast to the vivid ceramic. The brass components, including the lamp neck and fittings, display a gentle patina, indicative of careful aging and enhancing the overall aesthetic. The dragons' detail work, particularly around the scales and facial features, is finely executed, offering a tactile dimension to the visual allure of the lamps. Standing at 24.25 inches in height, these lamps possess a commanding presence, making them suitable as statement pieces. The dimensions and robust construction ensure they are both decorative and functional. With no visible chips or cracks, they remain in very good condition, ready to illuminate with their historical charm and artisanal elegance.
