Description
A pair of vintage Brighton Pavilion chairs crafted from rattan, showcasing a design inspired by the iconic structures of the Brighton Pavilion. The chairs feature an intricate openwork pattern on the back, combining geometric motifs with vertical spindles, creating a visually engaging play of lines and shapes. The rattan exhibits a warm, age-appropriate patina, characteristic of its original finish, adding depth and character to the overall appearance. The chairs are structurally sound, with minor surface scuffs and light wear, indicative of careful use over the years. The seats are constructed from tightly woven rattan, providing a sturdy and comfortable surface. The harmonious curves of the arms and the high, embracing back create a balanced silhouette, enhancing both aesthetic appeal and ergonomic support. The lower apron showcases additional geometric detailing, echoing the design elements of the backrest and tying the composition together. With dimensions of W 27.75" × H 37.5" × D 17.25", these chairs present a compact yet commanding presence, suitable for various interior settings.
