Description
A vintage patinated copper shingle floor mirror by Olde Good Things, exemplifying the brand's unique approach to reclaimed materials and design. The substantial frame, crafted from individually patinated copper shingles, presents a striking visual texture with its verdigris finish, creating a dynamic interplay of green and blue hues accented by areas of natural oxidation. This patina not only adds character but also speaks to the piece's age and authenticity. The mirrored glass, framed within this robust structure, shows light surface wear and minor clouding, typical of vintage mirrors, which subtly enhances its charm. The reflective surface remains largely clear, offering both functionality and an atmospheric quality that complements the aged copper. Measuring an impressive 31.5 inches in width and 94.25 inches in height, the mirror holds a commanding presence, suitable for various interior settings. The piece remains structurally sound, retaining all original elements, with the craftsmanship evident in the secure assembly of the shingles. Olde Good Things' hallmark style is unmistakable in this mirror, which combines functional design with historical materials, making it a standout example of their work in the realm of architectural salvage.
