Description
Crafted from rich, warmly patinated wood, this vintage vase showcases intricate mother of pearl inlay, forming delicate floral and vine motifs that elegantly wrap around its elongated form. Standing at 15.5 inches tall with a diameter of 4 inches, the vase presents a balanced silhouette, tapering gently to a flared rim. The wood's surface reveals a fine grain with a subtle sheen, suggesting careful preservation of the original finish, which has mellowed beautifully over time. The mother of pearl inlay is deftly executed, with each piece meticulously set to create a harmonious design that contrasts with the wood's natural tones. The base provides a stable foundation, slightly broader to ensure structural integrity, while minor surface scuffs and light wear speak to its vintage character without detracting from its overall aesthetic appeal. This piece exhibits no visible repairs or losses, maintaining its structural soundness. The combination of organic materials and skilled craftsmanship makes it a distinguished decorative object, embodying both historical significance and timeless artistry. Ideal for those who appreciate detailed inlay work and the unique charm of vintage decor, the vase remains a testament to enduring design principles.
