Description

A vintage monumental stone disc garden planter of cast stone construction, showcasing a commanding presence with its impressive 54-inch diameter. The bowl, with its subtly textured surface, displays a consistent weathered patina that suggests years of graceful outdoor aging. This natural discoloration and minor surface wear are typical and expected from exposure to the elements, enhancing its rustic charm. The planter is structurally sound, exhibiting no significant chips or cracks, which speaks to its robust craftsmanship. Its flat base provides stability, though when placed on a dolly, it appears to float just above the ground, adding an intriguing visual effect. This illusion of levitation makes it an engaging focal point for garden settings. Designed to rest flat, the substantial 10.75-inch height creates a deep basin suitable for a variety of plantings, from lush florals to simple succulents. The thick stone walls add to its durability while offering an aesthetic of permanence and tranquility. This piece marries form and function, serving as both a practical planter and a sculptural garden element.
