Description
Crafted from metal, this vintage tray features a striking ball finial design, characteristic of mid-20th century industrial aesthetics. The tray's form is defined by its elongated rectangular shape with a raised, rounded edge adorned by substantial ball-topped posts linked by a curved handle. The original metal finish is well-preserved, displaying a consistent patina that speaks to its age and adds character to its surface. Despite minor surface scratches and small scuffs typical of light use, the piece remains structurally sound and free from significant damage or repairs. The tray's dimensions, measuring 21 inches in width and 10.5 inches in depth, provide ample space for display or functional use, while its height of 4.75 inches including the finials offers an appealing elevation. The metal surface is smooth, with a muted sheen that subtly reflects light, enhancing its utilitarian charm. Each finial is securely affixed, contributing to the tray's robust construction and visual balance. This piece is a testament to thoughtful design and durable craftsmanship, suitable for collectors and enthusiasts of vintage metalwork.
