Description

A pair of vintage KPM Berlin blanc de chine porcelain candelabras, showcasing the delicate artistry and craftsmanship synonymous with the esteemed German porcelain manufacturer. These candelabras, standing at an impressive 24 inches in height, feature a refined, white glazed finish that exudes an understated elegance. Each candelabra supports five candle holders, gracefully extending from a central column adorned with intricate floral and foliate motifs. The blossoms and vines, meticulously detailed, add a touch of organic beauty to the otherwise smooth, lustrous surface. The bases are robustly designed with scrolled feet and a scalloped edge, reflecting a classic rococo influence that enhances their decorative appeal. Despite minor surface scuffs and slight wear on the base edges, these pieces maintain a cohesive aesthetic, with the original glaze well-preserved, displaying a subtle patina that speaks to their age and authenticity. Structurally sound with no visible repairs, the candelabras are impressive both in design and condition. The elegant curves and balanced proportions contribute to their visual harmony, making them a worthy representation of KPM's historical legacy in fine porcelain production. These candelabras are not only functional but also serve as a testament to timeless design and quality craftsmanship.
