Description
Crafted with a dynamic blend of fabric, jute, rope, and paper, this vintage lion mask presents a striking array of textures and colors. The mask's design is centered around vibrant, meticulously wrapped coils of fabric and rope, forming an intricate pattern that defines the lion's visage. Each coil is rich with color variation, showcasing hues of blue, red, yellow, and green, interspersed with patterned segments that add depth and interest to the composition. The eyes, nose, and mouth are cleverly delineated within this complex arrangement, lending the piece a lively expression. A generous fringe of natural jute encircles the mask, mimicking a lion's mane and enhancing the sculptural quality of the piece. The jute maintains a consistent, undamaged appearance, with minimal wear visible, suggesting careful preservation over time. The overall condition of the mask is remarkable, with the colors maintaining their vibrancy and the materials exhibiting only light, age-appropriate wear. Measuring 21.75 inches in width, 22.75 inches in height, and 2.25 inches in depth, this mask commands attention as a decorative focal point.
