Description
A vibrant vintage face mask crafted from natural materials, featuring jute, rope, and paper elements. The mask showcases a dynamic, circular composition with an array of colorful, coiled paper strips meticulously arranged to form a visually striking pattern. The palette includes rich hues of red, blue, yellow, and green, creating a vibrant and lively appearance. Three circular cutouts strategically placed within the design add an intriguing depth and dimension to the piece. At the base, a fringe of natural jute cascades down, providing textural contrast and enhancing the organic aesthetic. The fringe exhibits minor fraying, a testament to the age and authenticity of the mask, yet remains structurally sound. The natural patina on the materials imbues the piece with a sense of history and character, without overwhelming its bold visual appeal. Measuring 18.25 inches in width, 22 inches in height, and 3.75 inches in depth, this mask offers a substantial presence. Its condition is notably good, with the original finish intact and vibrant. The use of natural materials and artisanal craftsmanship reflects a deep connection to traditional practices, making it a compelling addition for collectors and enthusiasts of vintage decorative arts.
