Description

A vibrant vintage ceramic vase featuring applied parrot figures, crafted with a keen attention to detail and an original glaze that showcases a charming craquelure pattern, typical of its age. Standing at 20.5 inches tall, the piece displays a harmonious blend of color and form. The primary vase body is enveloped in a soft pink glaze, subtly deepening in hue, with a network of craquelure that adds depth and character. Adorning the surface are meticulously crafted parrot figures, each in a distinct color palette—emerald, burgundy, and golden yellow. These birds exhibit finely detailed feathers and lively postures, lending a dynamic quality to the piece. The vibrant glaze on the parrots remains well-preserved, with the colors still strikingly vivid. Leaf motifs accompany the birds, adding a naturalistic element that complements the overall design. While the vase shows minor surface wear and slight discoloration, these elements are consistent with its vintage nature and do not detract from its visual appeal. The applied figures are intact, showing no signs of repair or loss, indicating careful preservation. This vase is a testament to skilled craftsmanship and a delightful addition for collectors who appreciate unique decorative ceramics.
