Description

Vintage hammered metal lamp featuring a richly textured green patina, likely mid-20th century. The lamp's base showcases a distinct hammered texture, creating a visually compelling surface with a play of light and shadow. This effect is heightened by the mottled green finish, which adds depth and character to the piece. The broad, rounded form of the lamp body tapers gracefully towards the top, where it meets a simple metal fitting. The design is both functional and sculptural, embodying a robust yet elegant aesthetic. The metal base rests upon a circular wooden platform, stained in a dark hue that complements the lamp's overall design. The wood base is smooth and polished, providing a refined contrast to the rugged texture above. The base remains intact, showing no visible damage, emphasizing the piece's structural integrity. Minor surface wear on the metal is consistent with the lamp's age, contributing to its authentic vintage appeal. The lamp is structurally sound and ready for practical use. Its dimensions make it a versatile piece, suitable for various interior settings, offering both illumination and a statement of mid-century craftsmanship.
