Description

A vintage table lamp featuring a green patinated bust, crafted from bronze and set upon a wooden base. The sculptural form captures a stylized human face, with the patina showcasing a spectrum of verdant hues, punctuated by areas of surface chipping that reveal the bronze beneath, lending the piece a timeworn allure. The patina's texture suggests a storied history, with each mark adding to its character. The lamp's base is composed of richly grained wood, exhibiting a warm tone that complements the cooler green of the bust. The base features intricate ribbed detailing, adding visual interest and a touch of sophistication. The metal fixture, with its gently tarnished finish, arcs gracefully above the sculpture, culminating in a standard socket. This tarnishing is consistent with age and use, yet the fixture remains intact and functional. Standing at 11 inches in height, the piece is both decorative and practical, structurally sound without visible repairs. Its compact dimensions allow for versatile placement, making it a distinctive addition to a variety of settings. The lamp's overall aesthetic speaks to a mid-century sensibility, where artistry and utility harmoniously converge.
