Description

Crafted from ceramic, this vintage vase showcases an appealing green glaze, subtly aged to a soft patina, evocative of mid-20th century design aesthetics. Its rounded form, measuring 4 inches in width and 4.5 inches in height, is accentuated by gentle ribbing around the upper portion, providing both visual texture and tactile interest. The glaze presents a harmonious blend of hues, with minor surface irregularities and a small discoloration spot adding character while maintaining the integrity of the piece. The vase is structurally sound, with no visible cracks or chips, indicative of careful preservation. The glaze retains a consistent sheen, reflective of its well-maintained condition, while the understated base reveals a delicate transition from the green exterior to a lighter, unglazed ceramic, highlighting the artisan's attention to detail. The piece’s modest dimensions make it a versatile addition to various settings, offering a touch of vintage charm. Overall, this vase embodies both functional and decorative qualities, characteristic of its era. Its well-preserved condition and subtle nuances in craftsmanship suggest a thoughtful acquisition for the discerning collector or enthusiast of vintage ceramics.
