Description
Pair of vintage cement ram's head planters, distinguished by their substantial presence and classical form. Constructed from durable cement, these urns showcase sculptural ram's heads adorning the rim, adding a touch of regal whimsy. The body of each planter features fluted vertical lines and a band of foliate motifs, imparting a sense of elegance and symmetry. Resting on a sturdy pedestal base, the planters are both visually balanced and structurally sound. The original painted finish exhibits a natural patina, with age-appropriate wear that enhances their vintage appeal. Minor chipping and surface weathering are evident, consistent with outdoor exposure, yet these elements contribute to the authentic character of the pieces. The wear reveals subtle variations in texture and color, offering a glimpse into their storied past. Measuring 31.5 inches in width, 30.5 inches in height, and 23.5 inches in depth, these planters are well-proportioned for a garden or patio setting. Despite their surface imperfections, they remain in good condition, free from significant damage or repairs. This pair embodies both durability and aesthetic charm, making them a noteworthy addition to any outdoor space.
