Description

A vintage carved wood antler wall mount, showcasing expert craftsmanship, likely mid-20th century. The piece is crafted entirely from wood, with the antlers meticulously carved to replicate the natural texture and form of real antlers. The wood exhibits a smooth, even patina, indicative of its age, with a light honey hue that highlights the fine grain pattern. Each antler is gracefully curved, demonstrating a delicate balance and symmetry, attached securely to a rounded wooden plaque that serves as the mount. The mount's surface reveals minor scuffs and light wear, consistent with its vintage nature, yet it remains structurally sound with no visible repairs or losses. The original finish is intact, enhancing the aesthetic appeal and authenticity of the piece. The subtle variations in the wood grain add depth and character, while the intricately carved details on the antler edges exemplify the artisan's skill. This wall mount, measuring 24.75 inches in width, 17.25 inches in height, and 14.25 inches in depth, is substantial enough to serve as a focal point in various settings. Its naturalistic design and careful execution make it a notable piece for collectors or enthusiasts of rustic or cabin-style decor.
