Description

A pair of vintage Brutalist side tables featuring a striking combination of glass and gilt metal. The robust metal bases exhibit a rich patina, suggestive of their age and adding a layer of character intrinsic to the Brutalist style. Each table is meticulously crafted with textured metal, showcasing a series of interlocking, abstract geometric forms that are both structural and decorative. The aged patina on the metal appears to be an original finish, lending an authentic vintage appeal. The square glass tops are well-preserved, sitting securely on the metal bases with noticeable precision. They are free from chips or cracks, suggesting careful handling over the years. The transparency of the glass beautifully contrasts with the complex, industrial design of the bases, providing a clear view of the intricate metalwork below. Minor surface wear on the metal confirms consistent and careful use, without detracting from the overall aesthetic. Measuring 20 inches in width and depth, with a height of 16.5 inches, these tables are both visually impactful and practical in size. Their unique design and excellent condition make them a distinctive addition for collectors or enthusiasts of mid-century Brutalist design.
