Description

A set of four vintage Brighton Pavilion rattan dining chairs, showcasing the intricate artistry typical of mid-20th-century design. Crafted from natural rattan, these chairs feature an elegantly curved backrest enriched with geometric patterns, a testament to the skilled craftsmanship. The rattan displays a warm, consistent patina, indicative of its age, with minor scuffs and light wear on the feet, adding character without compromising structural integrity. Notably, the original cane seats have been replaced with wood panels, providing a versatile foundation that invites customization with cushions or the option to restore the cane seats, depending on personal preference. The chairs retain their appealing form, with tightly wrapped joints that ensure stability and durability. Measuring 22 inches in width, 36.25 inches in height, and 17 inches in depth, the proportions are well-suited for both dining and accent seating. The overall condition is very good, with no visible repairs or damage to the rattan framing. These chairs offer a distinctive blend of historical charm and modern adaptability, well-suited to a variety of interior styles, capturing the essence of Brighton Pavilion's legacy.
