Description
This exceptional vintage low table is a beautiful homage to the iconic "lobster pot" designs famously associated with Italian architect Franco Albini. Expertly crafted from hand-bent rattan and wicker, the piece features a sophisticated, open-weave cage construction that radiates outward from a central spiral core. Its airy, organic form perfectly captures the relaxed elegance of 1970s Boho Chic and Mid-Century Modern aesthetics. The natural honey-toned material adds a layer of warm, inviting texture to any interior, making it an authoritative addition to a sun-drenched sunroom, an eclectic living space, or a refined coastal retreat. Measuring 23.5 inches in diameter and standing 14 inches tall, this versatile piece functions beautifully as a unique side table, a low-profile footstool, or a standalone sculptural accent. The bentwood structure is in great vintage condition, displaying a rich, authentic patina and minor surface wear characteristic of natural materials and age. Its lightweight yet sturdy design allows for easy mobility, while the craftsmanship reflects a time of dedicated artisanal skill. Elevate your interior gallery with this timeless piece of rattan history and add a touch of organic warmth to your collection today.
