Description

Vintage blue glazed ceramic obelisks, standing at a height of 19 inches, exhibit an appealing patina that speaks to their age and character. Crafted from ceramic, these obelisks are finished with a vibrant blue glaze that showcases a rich interplay of lighter and darker tones, resulting in a striking visual texture. The glaze exhibits areas of intentional pooling, giving depth and a sense of movement across the surface. Despite their vintage status, the obelisks remain structurally sound, maintaining their intended form with notable craftsmanship. Edges display minor chipping and some glaze loss, typical of pieces with significant age and use, yet these imperfections contribute to their authenticity and charm. The base, measuring 6.75 inches square, supports the tapering form with classic stepped detailing, grounding the pieces in an architectural tradition. These obelisks represent a blend of decorative elegance and historical resonance, making them suitable for a collector with an appreciation for ceramic artistry and vintage aesthetics. Their size and hue make them versatile for various settings, adding a touch of history and artistry to any collection.
