Description

Crafted in a striking abstract form, this vintage glass art vase exhibits a sculptural fluidity reminiscent of mid-20th-century design movements. The piece stands at an impressive height of 26.75 inches, capturing attention with its undulating silhouette that evokes the natural movement of water or flowing fabric. Made from thick, frosted glass, the vase demonstrates a sophisticated interplay of textures, with both smooth and rough surfaces that catch and diffuse light in a captivating manner. The vase's palette features subtle gradients of milky white and soft blue, creating an ethereal effect that enhances its dynamic form. Set upon a solid, slightly iridescent glass base, the piece maintains stability while contributing an additional layer of visual interest through its subtle color variation. This foundation supports the vase's dramatic, upward-reaching contours, which culminate in delicate, cresting forms that suggest the crest of a wave. The overall condition is excellent, with no visible chips or cracks, indicating careful preservation over the years. The vase’s artistic quality and substantial presence make it a remarkable example of abstract glasswork, suitable for discerning collectors who appreciate both the aesthetic and technical mastery of vintage glass artisans.
