Description
A black leather lounge chair and ottoman in the style of Eames, this piece exhibits the hallmark aesthetic of mid-century modern design. The chair features original leather upholstery, displaying minor creasing and light wear consistent with age, enhancing its vintage appeal. The leather's surface reveals subtle patina, adding character while maintaining an invitingly soft texture. Complementing the upholstery, the wood frame showcases a rich, warm patina with minor scuffs primarily on the base, indicative of careful use over time. The chair’s structure is supported by sleek metal elements, including a five-point swivel base, offering both stability and a polished finish. The ottoman, measuring 21x15x15, mirrors the chair’s design, providing a cohesive look and additional comfort. The wood exhibits a smooth grain, enhancing the visual and tactile experience, while the metal retains a clean, unblemished surface. Both pieces are structurally sound and ready for use, combining comfort with enduring style. This lounge chair and ottoman set captures the essence of Eames’ innovative design philosophy, offering a timeless silhouette that integrates seamlessly into a variety of interiors.
