Description
Evoke the dramatic spirit of the Art Deco era with this magnificent vintage architectural wall frieze. This large-scale plaster medallion features a powerful and stylized depiction of Diana, the Roman goddess of the hunt, striding forward with her bow and faithful hounds. The artist has captured a moment of pure dynamic energy, showcased through flowing lines and a sophisticated open-work design. Crafted from plaster and finished with a rich, verdigris patina that beautifully simulates the appearance of aged bronze, this piece is a true work of sculptural art. It is destined to be a commanding focal point above a fireplace mantel, an elegant accent in a grand entryway, or a source of classical drama in a living room or study. Presented in great vintage condition, this frieze's character is enhanced by its beautifully preserved patina, with only minor scuffs and blemishes appropriate to its age and use. Measuring a substantial 32 inches in diameter and 1.25 inches deep, its impressive scale makes a confident statement. This versatile piece bridges multiple aesthetics, integrating flawlessly into Art Deco, Neoclassical, or Hollywood Regency decors, while also adding a touch of mythological grandeur to a traditional or eclectic interior. Don't miss the opportunity to acquire this timeless piece of decorative art. Bring home this stunning Diana frieze today!
