Description

A pair of vintage wall sconces by ASEA Scandia, these pieces showcase a harmonious blend of metal and glass, embodying mid-century modern design principles. The sconces feature a distinctive bubble-shaped glass dome that elegantly encases concentric metallic discs, creating a striking visual interplay of light and shadow. The metal retains its original finish, displaying a subtle patina that adds character while maintaining a sleek, clean appearance. The glass domes are meticulously crafted, with no visible chips or cracks, ensuring the integrity of the design is preserved. Each sconce is structurally sound and ready for immediate installation. The dimensions, measuring 16.5 inches in both width and depth, with a height of 9 inches, make them adaptable to various spaces, providing both form and function. ASEA Scandia’s signature design approach is evident in the refined simplicity and functional elegance of these sconces. The minor surface wear on the metal is consistent with age, enhancing their vintage appeal without detracting from their overall aesthetic and operational quality.
