Vintage Danny Ho Fong Furniture

Danny Ho Fong (1915–1992) was a Chinese-born American designer and co-founder, with Muey Fong, of the family furniture business known for its Tropi-Cal designs and continued by Fong Brothers Company. His sculptural rattan furniture helped define California modern design. His 1966 Wave Chaise, combining woven rattan with a wrought-iron structure, is in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York. His son, architect and designer Miller Yee Fong, also contributed to the family business.
